Walk Thru Announcements

03/18/16 Red Oak Elementary

The patrols have signed up to announce an EARTH JOKE and a tip to each class for morning announcements. We started our first one and Mr. Perrine said he learned a great tip about recycling the top of the pizza box. These "WALK THRU" announcements to each individual room will continue through the month of April. Each patrol will be given a chance to announce a joke and a tip with the principal.

Recycling Plastic Bags

02/27/16 Red Oak Elementary

Those plastic Target/Walmart bags cannot be recycled in a home recycling container. It shuts down the recycling machines. You can collect them though and bring them to Target, Cub and other large department stores. If you know of other places, let us know and we will add it to our list.

PIZZA Boxes

02/27/16 Red Oak Elementary

Look at the top of the pizza box. If it has little or no grease on it, you can recycle it in your home. Just cut off the top from the bottom and you have made a difference in our environment. THANKS FOR BEING GREEN!
